Description: The castle is under attack! Are you inclined to help us defeat the dragons? We are bound to succeed in this quest if you are willing to share your knowledge and help us reinforce the concept of forces! We should warn you that this is not an easy feat. This STEM-based program is bound to test your inquiry-based skills and challenge you to investigate and predict how the movement of objects will be affected when contact forces such as applied friction, tension and elastic/string forces are applied. Not only will you conduct investigations to demonstrate how force affects movement and build simple machines, but you will also get to create your very own wooden catapult to defend the castle!

Format: Our experienced presenters deliver curriculum-based field trips right in your classroom.

Duration: 2 hours
