Description: Do opposites really attract? Will “Like Repel Like”? Why do we stay on the ground rather than float around in the air? It’s time to explore the far out forces of Gravity and Magnetism! Together, we will discover the invisible world of totally groovy non-contact forces in this science based curriculum program. Students keep their feet on the ground as they experiment with the effects of gravity on a variety of objects: Does the shape of the object change the effects of gravity? Hey Man! Let’s create some “Good Vibes” as we investigate magnetic levitation and forces acting on objects from a distance. How are gravity and magnetism connected? How are these forces the same? How are they different? It’s time to put these invisible forces to the test in this action packed program – Forces From a Distance!
