What Teachers Are Saying

D.G-M., Grade 3 TeacherAfton School

The Presenter was very well prepared and well organized, and had excellent management skills. The hands-on activities are, of course, our favourite thing. I liked how there was a balance between the kinesthetic materials and the theory/info materials. (In-School program)

Grade 3 TeacherAcadia School

Our school did not have resources handy to meet the curricular outcomes of the unit. Everything was provided. Students were engaged for the entire time. Students are still excited about what they learned today. (In-School program)

K.D., Grade 3 TeacherHoly Spirit Sherwood Park School

I like how much of the curriculum we were able to cover in these two hours. All of the supplies are brought to me so I don't have to scramble around looking for materials. The kids really enjoyed the hands-on activities. Each station was organized really well. (In-School program)

M.B., Grade 3 TeacherMontrose School

This was wonderful! My kids enjoyed the presentation and so did I. The adventure of Mr. Road and the inclusion of real-life careers in the field peaked a great deal of enthusiasm and curiosity! I am new to teaching Gr. 3 but have been a teacher for over 25 years with the district and the video is truly amazing! Congratulations to you all! My kids were thrilled with the claystone digging for gemstones...if only you could have seen the eager chisel work, the shouts of "I found one" the scrambling of others to see it...the clay dust on clothes, faces and the floor...followed by diligent Cinderella's to clean-up! (Field Trip on Demand)

B.M., Grade 3 TeacherSt. Henry School

The video was very well done and it covered all the topics in that unit. Most of the video was very entertaining. I loved the dance break as that was needed and a fun break! The looking for the Claystone really sucked my kids in and when I have Claystones for them, they freaked out! It was wonderful! The take home project was fabulous and the kids had a ton of fun doing it! (Field Trip on Demand)
