In-School Field Trips
Description: Launch your students into the world of forced interactions in this energy based science program themed Mission To Mars! While conducting scientific investigations, students will identify how internal and external force interactions lead to physical changes in shape for a variety of objects. In our Mission Log, we will explore plasticity, elasticity, and Newton’s Third Law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. In a dramatic conclusion to the program, students will apply the results of their scientific investigations to design and build a Mars Lander! You won’t have to force the fun and the only tension in the room will be the force exerted on the objects.
