In-School Field Trips
Description: Astronomical means relating to astronomy, or the science of space. Phenomena is a fact or situation that is observed to exist, especially when the cause or explanation is in question. When you put them together you get this exciting field trip filled with investigations into how these observable events happen among objects in space. Explore how seasons are experienced on Earth and how the moon plays a part in it. Discuss how calendars can represent these astronomical phenomena and their predictable patterns and cycles. This program is an astronomical (large) phenomena (remarkable thing)!
