What Teachers Are Saying

L.M, Grade 2 TeacherCalder School

I overhead some of the students saying this is the "Best Field Trip Ever!". We got to listen to a story, see if things float or sink and we got to build a boat and take it home. As a teacher, I think this is the best value for the students' money, they learned a lot and they get to take a boat home to experiment even further. Great field trip! (In-School program)

The presenter was engaging and fun. The post actiivty student booklet provides the teacher with a good assessment tool for what the students learned. I covered a whole unit in one day! (In-School program)

L.S., Grade 2 TeacherAuburn Bay School

The video was engaging and fun for the students. It was a great demonstration of concepts that we had covered in class, and directly related to to the curriculum. We loved the pirate and his step by step instructions were easy to follow. This program was well worth the money, and allowed us to do something that we otherwise would not have been able to do! (Field Trip On-Demand program)

M. H., Grade 2 TeacherJulia Kiniski school

My class LOVED this presentation & so did I! It was informative and engaging, the staff who created the video presentation went above and beyond- my kids truly believed he was a pirate!!! I really appreciated being able to pause it, discuss it, rewind, take a break as necessary. We actually ended up making a whole day of it! The resources were all provided and nothing was forgotten or left out, it was so well thought out. I really appreciated that I needed to do so little! We couldn't have volunteers due to Covid, but it was really easy for me to do it by myself! (Field Trip On-Demand program)
